The 2012 St. Clears YFC Agricultural Show will be on Saturday 19th May

Closing Date for Enteries Approching

April 30th, 2011

Anyone wishing to enter the Welsh Pony and Cob Classes, worried about the closing date of 7th May, due to all the Bank holidays this month can phone or e-mail  their entries.

Horse Class Prize money will be paid on the day by the horse section Secretary and Prizes for the Pony Club and Medals for the Riding Club classes will also be available on the day.

Ammendments to the Schedule.
1 ) Cattle Section
The group starting with Best Local Beef, the Judge will be Gywn Davies, Brecon.
The Judge for the Welsh Blacks will be Mrs C Carberry, Llandeilo.
2) Horse Section
Ring 9 – Will start at 9 am with the Section C’s & D’s with the Carriage Driving to follow.  Not as stated in the schedule.
BMHS & Pony Breeding Judge – Mrs H M Thomas
Open & Novice W H P Judge – Mrs D M Thorne, Banbury plus 1 TBC
RIHS & Blue Riband, M & M WHP and W H Judges – Mr & Mrs Bayley- Machin.
Class P 108 – Should read Stallion Mare or Gelding not as printed.

New Prize Money

Due to the tremendous support and generosity of Louise and everyone at Malcolm Herbert Plant Hire, Station Road, St Clears, in both the Race to Riding Horse & Side Saddle classes, 1st, 2nd and 3d place winners will now receive prize money as well as rosettes.

A huge Thank you goes to them all, from  Paula and the Committee .

Return of British Showjumping to St Clears Show

February 27th, 2011

This year also sees the long awaited return of British Showjumping to St Clears Show. There will be Unaffiliated classes A.M with Affiliated for both Juniors and Seniors following on.This is  to be run under new Joint partnership formed between St Clears and all at Area 36 with special thanks to Mr Charles Morgan & Mr Paul Evans for all their help.
